Congratulations to Dr. Uma Krishnan, who was selected as the American Heart Association’s 2026 Woman of Impact. This distinction is awarded to individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to advancing cardiovascular health and supporting the AHA’s philanthropic mission. Her recognition reflects months of dedicated effort – mobilizing community support, raising awareness about heart disease in women, and championing prevention and education initiatives that reach far beyond the walls of our clinics.
Dr. Krishnan and her team of 109 members – all recruited by her – raised $105,613 and collected a total of 156,078 Impact Points. Her team stands in first place for the most members and is among the top ten in the nation.
Dr. Krishnan’s achievement is more than an individual honor; it is a testament to the power of clinician-led advocacy, and the difference one person can make when passion meets purpose. Her work strengthens the broader cardiovascular community, uplifts patients and families across the state, and reinforces the values Pulse strives to embody as an organization.
