Hilary Whittington has been selected as the new Chief Executive of Pulse Heart Institute.
Hilary has been an integral part of Pulse since 2020, when she was hired as the chief financial officer. In December 2023 she took on an expanded role as CFO of all MultiCare institutes, leading the finance teams for Pulse and the MultiCare Cancer and MultiCare Neuroscience Institutes. In February of this year, Hilary stepped into the role of interim president of Pulse and has deftly led the team since that time.
Hilary’s innovative mindset and dedication to our teams will help Pulse continue to grow and better serve our communities. She works tirelessly to further the Pulse mission of giving people – patients and team members alike – their best lives.
Hilary earned her BBA in Accounting from Gonzaga University and EMBA from the University of Washington’s Foster School of Business. Additionally, she holds a Master Certificate in Healthcare Leadership: Focus on Change Management from Cornell University.
Outside of work, Hilary looks forward to spending time outdoors with her husband and two young sons, exploring forests, cooking and is earning her pilot’s license. Weekends exploring the skies and quiet beauty of the Pacific Northwest are her fuel.
