A Novel Approach to Reduce Congestive Heart Failure 30-day Readmissions
Jon Clifton, RN, CHPN, Inland Northwest Heart Failure Center of Excellence, authored a white paper detailing the collaborative effort between Pulse Heart Institute and DispatchHealth to address the treatment of congestive heart failure and reduce 30-day hospital readmissions. Together, Pulse and DispatchHealth were able to reduce readmission rates significantly.

The Pulse Heart Institute Prevention Center of Excellence was featured in the Journal of Cardiovascular Nursing for their study "Using Personal Activity Intelligence With Patients in a Clinic Setting". The team found that using a a PAI metric helped reduce the risk of future cardiovascular events.
