Mortada Shams, MD, MBA, FACC is a board-certified interventional cardiologist who provides comprehensive treatment for the full range of cardiac conditions. His clinical areas are general cardiology, coronary artery disease, preventive cardiology and temporary mechanical circulatory support. Outside of work, his interests include gardening, woodworking, cooking and traveling. Dr. Shams speaks French and Spanish.
My goal is to deliver the best care possible for each of my patients so that they are able to feel better, live longer and enjoy life. Through a collaborative approach, I strive to deliver individualized care tailored to my patients' concerns and goals that utilizes the most advanced and current treatment options available to navigate their conditions and improve their lives.
