The Pulse Heart Institute Hearts of Gratitude Scholarship Program
The Pulse Hearts of Gratitude Scholarship Program is accepting applications.
Applications will be accepted and reviewed on a quarterly basis as follows (schedule subject to change):
Fall: applications accepted August 1 – 31 for decisions made by October 1
Winter: applications accepted November 1 – 23 for decisions made by January 1
Spring: applications accepted February 1 – 28 for decisions made by April 1
Summer: applications accepted May 1 – 31 for decisions made by July 1
Eligible applicants
- Must be 0.6 FTE or higher.
- Must have been employed by Pulse for at least one year prior to application date and in good standing.
Eligible education programs
- Health or healthcare related programs.
- Programs or events not covered by CME.
- Seminars, professional conferences, training events.
- Two- or four-year trade school, community college or college programs.
How to apply
Late or incomplete applications will not be considered. Applicants are responsible for ensuring completeness of their application.
Completed applications must be received by Lisa Stevenson no later than 5:00 pm on the listed due date above. Only complete applications will be considered.
If you do not meet the application criteria for a Pulse Hearts of Gratitude Program scholarship at this time, please check with your department manager for additional resources that may be available to you.
What we are looking for
You will be evaluated on rigorousness of curriculum, grade point average, need for professionals in your chosen career path, answers to short answer questions, recommendations, financial need and good standing within the organization.
Please include the following with your application
- Hearts of Gratitude Scholarship Application – download this fillable form, complete all blanks, and sign/date where indicated; no other application form will be accepted
- Associated supplemental personal essay questions (see application form for questions)
- One letter of reference from either your supervisor, employer, teacher or coach (references from relatives will not be accepted)
- A current printed copy of your transcript from your college, including a listing of coursework in progress (if applicable)
- Total program cost
- W9 for your academic institution
- Registration form and agenda for seminars/events (if applicable)
