Pulse partner Arizona Heart Foundation now hiring credentialed sonographers as instructors for Auburn-based education program 2

The Pulse Heart Institute Imaging Center of Excellence recently launched a satellite School of Cardiac Ultrasound in partnership with the Arizona Heart Foundation (AHF), and AHF is now hiring credentialed sonographers to join the program as instructors.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the echocardiography program, ensuring they acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in their careers as cardiac sonographers.

Qualifications & Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS).
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of clinical experience in echocardiography.
  • Previous teaching experience in an academic or clinical setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment.

The first session of the school’s one-year accelerated cardiac ultrasound training program is slated to begin January 2025 in Auburn, WA.
