Heart of the Zags patient feature: Spokane woman saved from near-death experience by husband and Pulse providers

Pulse patient Shellie Schultz, who was featured in the Heart of the Zags program, shares her heart attack and recovery story on KXLY.

Shultz is pacemaker-dependent and had a near-death experience in April when she was found unconscious by her husband and rushed to MultiCare Deaconess Hospital.

Grateful for the care she received and the recognition from the Gonzaga fans, Shellie is now strong enough to enjoy the outdoors and cheer on her favorite basketball team.

Read Shellie’s full story and watch her video interview here.
